Your Information

Privacy Policy

Plain language, no fine-print games. Here is exactly what we collect, what we don't, and what's yours to control.

Effective May 24, 2026

The short version: The Battle Buddy Companion app runs entirely on your device — we never see what you put into it. The only personal information we ever collect is an email address, and only if you choose to give it to us to join the newsletter. We never sell or rent your information. You can leave the list any time with one click.

Who we are

This website, battlebuddycompanion.com, and the Battle Buddy Companion app are operated by P4P Digital Products LLC, a Veteran-owned company organized in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" mean P4P Digital Products LLC.

The app collects nothing

This is the most important part. The Battle Buddy Companion app is built to keep your story yours. Everything you enter — every check-in, journal entry, photo, and crisis plan — is encrypted with AES-256 on your own device and stored only there. It is never uploaded, never transmitted to us, and never seen by anyone but you. There is no account and no cloud. We could not access your app data even if we were asked to.

What the website collects

Your email address — only when you choose to enter it to join the newsletter or to get the app. That is the only personal information we ask for.

Basic technical data — like any website, our host records standard, non-identifying technical information (such as general traffic and security logs) needed to keep the site running and secure. We do not use this to build a profile of you, and we do not run advertising trackers.

How we use your email

We use your email address for one purpose: to send you the monthly newsletter and occasional announcements about the mission and our products. That's it. When you sign up, we send a confirmation email first — you are only added once you confirm. We do not add anyone who has not asked to be added.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone. We use two trusted service providers to run this site, and they process information only on our behalf:

  • MailerLite — our email provider. It stores your email address so we can send the newsletter. See mailerlite.com for its privacy practices.
  • Cloudflare — our website host. It serves the site and handles standard security and traffic logging.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.

Your choices and rights

You are always in control of your information:

  • Unsubscribe any time. Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom.
  • Access or delete your data. Email us and we will tell you what we hold and remove it on request.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address only as long as you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, we remove it from our active list.

A note for younger visitors

This website and newsletter are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, but we keep what we collect to a deliberate minimum so there is very little to protect in the first place.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will post the new version here and change the effective date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
