Every entry you make, every photo you upload, and your crisis plan are encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a key derived from your 4-digit code. The encrypted data lives in your browser on your device only. Nothing is ever sent to a server, ever. We never see what you write. The trade-off: if you forget your code, the data is unrecoverable. That's the point.
Battle Buddy Companion is delivered as an HTML file that runs in any modern browser — desktop, laptop, tablet, or phone. You open it like a webpage, but everything happens locally on your device. No app store. No install. No account.
